Jazz Band
Jazz Band at Eastern Greene is yet another opportunity for students to explore all the different genres of music and become more well-rounded players. Jazz Band meets after school on Mondays and Thursdays upon the completion of the marching season in the fall (only) from 3:30-5:30. This is available to all high school musicians interested in exploring new ways to play their instrument and experience music.
Pep Band
Pep Band at EG is made up of members of the High School Concert Band to support the Eastern Greene Thunderbirds! During football season, pep band is made up of our marching band. For basketball season, it is mandatory for all students participating in High School Band. The band loves to cheer on our Thunderbirds!
Pit Orchestra
Pit Orchestra is our select ensemble that performs for the annual Spring Musical. This is a great opportunity for all of our music programs at Eastern Greene to work together and put on a wonderful performance. Students in the high school band are welcomed to join pit, so long as the instrumentation allows. If needed, select members of the middle school bands may also be asked to participate.
